The public bath experience was exquisite, providing a perfect sanctuary after a long day of exploring the city.
I found the breakfast offerings to be quite repetitive. having the same limited menu every day made it feel less special.

Well-appointed room with excellent bathtub.
During my stay, I found the breakfast menu to lack variety over the four days. The same Japanese options were served every morning, which became repetitive. Additionally, the lack of bedside tables was a baffling oversight, making it inconvenient to store personal items.

would happily go back again
Super clean and spacious room! Loved the air purifier and the comfy pajamas. The onsen was amazing and so relaxing. Daily snacks and drinks were a nice touch too. The private bathroom had everything, shampoo, conditioner, and even a bidet. Perfect for recovering after exploring Kyoto's sights.

the food here, simply not up to par. same breakfast served daily, how original. and don’t get me started on the surprise charges – positively outrageous! i expected a complimentary room upgrade for my troubles, but alas, that’s a pipe dream. don’t bother unless you enjoy mediocrity. i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

Family with children must consider this place
We had an lovely time, especially in that corner suite, panoramic views. The breakfast was unique, I mean eel en papilotte might not be for everyone but it was an experience. Service was perfect, and I appreciated how they respected our requests on the menu.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still within reason.
